February Feature Cochran Lyle

     A native son of Rockbridge County, Cochran Lyle is proud to still call Rockbridge County home. His passion for landscapes and impressive mountain ranges have inspired him to interpret the beauty and serenity that he has found onto his canvas.        

     After graduating Antioch College, Mr. Lyle moved to London to pursue landscape and garden design at the illustrious English Gardening School at Chelsea. Upon his return to Rockbridge County, he built a flourishing business as a landscape designer and nursery owner.

     But life is not all about business, in addition to painting he is also an accomplished musician. Having a mastery of many instruments including the mandolin, guitar, and pedal steel. These classic staples of country music add, for him, the perfect soundtrack to a life well lived.
